Motor Swap **HMMM**
I am going to be ordering a d15b JDM swap soon, was wondering what if anything I have to keep in mind. It is going in a 1993 CX, I was told before that a swap was fun and IT WASNT so is everything a REAL bolt up? or just most of it? TIA
ok, from past experience... (last week)... the mounts are a little different... the VTEC must be wired...
my motor didn't include the d15b mounts, so in went my d15b7 mounts... slightly different, so i ended up not using the upper timing belt cover... it is a bolt on however! wiring is three wires, not very difficult.. if you grab and ex/si wire harness, everything is PLUG AND PLAY.. (assuming you have a sohc vtec ecu)...
is that it? yeah, i think so... i had fun doing it, didn't even have a cherry picker

swaps are fun and even if you use ur stock harness it isnt to hard to wire up Vtec onto your car if your not going to be using AC use the plug from that for your vtec oil siliniod and run your vtec line and your done
