Will LS AEM CAI intake fit on A Type R
Im wondering this cause Im selling my brand new LS AEM CAI, and a guy offered me money but he has an R, and he wants to know if it will fit, any info would be appreciated
I'm pretty sure the diameter for the LS is like 1/2 an inch smaller then the Type R..I don't think it will fit on the R throttle body

it does fit but its not the optimal intake to use on a R.. when my friend first got his type R a ghetto shop (vsv performance in carrollton TX) sold him a LS intake and put it on w/ out telling him its not a R intake.. but it worked and did gain HP
i've got a gsr aem cai on my LS
it's blue... i'll trade ya my blue gsr cai for a blue aem cai for the LS! PPLLEEAASSEEE! lol i know it would fit better than putting an LS one on an ITR.

I don't think the GSR AEM cai will fit the type R better than the LS. The GSR cai will fit the ITR the same as it fits your LS. The LS is shaped the same as the Type R cause the TB is in pretty much the same place as the LS. The GSR has that weird intake manifold with the TB positioned much lower than the LS and Type R. That is why the GSR cai pipeing is shaped differentlly.
oh man! i thought the gsr and itr intake would be the same. i thought the itr intake manifold would be the same as the gsr one b/c they both had the secondary intake runners (maybe?) while the LS doens't... damn it, oh well. i was wrong again
