Default WTB: Lower control arm, even if you get it from th junk yard!

I'm looking for a lower control arm for the passenger side of my 1996 civic dx sedan. I broke mine in half. I dont mind if you go to the junkyard and buy it, just give me a good deal and Ill get it off you. I need this ASAP.

I don't have one, but it is unclear whether you need your front or rear. I'm guessing front. The same happened to me and I ordered it from http://www.importautosalvage.com for like 40-60 bucks.

It was really quick. I ordered back in January/February so I really don't remember. I think under a week. Mine was off a 95 civic for a 93 del Sol.

I saw they had a bunch that worked with Civic DX and another model. They were $60 on there plus shipping. And they ship the LCA with some other stuff still attached. Sorry I don't know the specifics on it all.

I also believe they are out of NC. So shipping to the midwest isn't too bad.

What happened to yours? I slid on ice into a curb and snapped it. The wheel took 100% of the hit and threw it all into the LCA. Nothing else was damaged for me.

I slid into the curb on wet leaves, same situation as yours. Did your wheel seem to move back becuase of it? Mine was back about 3 inches, im 99.9% sure this will fix it though, becuase it didnt break in 2 it broke at one point and bent quite a bit.

Still looking guys! Give me a deal and we'll be in business!

That's exactly what happened. My wheel hit the fender and bent it. And was rubbing against the fender and fender lining after the impact.

Good to hear you got a replacement. Mine was slightly worse than that. It's still in my garage. Not much to really do with it......
