Default Camber

I'm looking for an adjustment for front camber to bring +1.4 back to 0 (bent control arm) on 94 Integra RS (LS) for now since I raised my car. So I probably need a camber kit from -2 to +2. Anyone know where I can get these, preferably not skunk2 because I find that's a bit pricey for a front camber kit. If not I'll just get them. Thanks!

Sorry probably wasn't clear ... I have coilover suspension, so I raised my car for the winter snow. Now, raising a vehicle should bring negative (ok if not too much) camber back to 0. But since my arm is bent, it's not sitting at 0 but +1.4 (bad). From the front my wheels are sitting like this: \ |

Why don't you just buy a new Control Arm?

Well I was thinking about it but I still need to buy a camber kit for when I lower it. Plus I'm not 100% sure the camber bent and/or nothing else.

How far do you usually drop your car in the summer? If less than 3", then a camber kit probably isn't needed as long as you get a proper alignment. Don't forget that you also need an alignment anyway since you changed the ride height of the car.

Yeah probably not more then 3"... So basically I need a toe adjustment when lowering? I can't see how lowering will affect toe, maybe I'll just get a control arm or what else could of been bent?

i've heard from other users that lowering will give you small toe, and an alignment will fix it. as for as camber, just align you tires regularly

Don't try to band-aid the problem, actually fix the problem by replacing the bent stuff.

ANY change in ride height affects toe. So many people think an alignment w/ camber kit is a must after lowering a car, which is wrong. When you hear about people lowering their car and the tires getting eaten to shreds because they didn't get an allignment, 9 times out of 10 it is because the toe is out-of-spec, NOT the camber.

So just keep that in mind that toe changes anytime the ride height changes, and toe will eat up tires faster than negative camber.

Thanks Patrick that's EXACTLY what I needed to know. Now, what should I replace? Lower and/or upper control arm, ... ? Anyway to tell what's bent? Thanks.

i agree with Patrick in regards to the fact that out of spec toe will eat up tires, but if u are gonna be adjusting your ride hieght couple times a year, you may want to get the skunk2 so you at least have the flexibility to adjust your camber. I've had mine on for about 15k miles now and i'm pretty damn happy with it.

Get the car aligned w/ proper factory toe specs, and rotate your tires every 3K-5K miles and you shouldn't have any problems.

I have had -2deg camber for 11k and I haven't noticed any uneven tirewear yet.
