best set up for a turbo

What engine does he have now?? The bigger displacement the better, but you have to pick a good turbo kit or turbo components.

Depending on the level of power he's looking for I'd say just go ahead and turbo the D-series he has. Save the $$ from the swap and buy an FMIC and some good coilovers.
