ITR Brake calipers rebuildable?
I have an extra set of used ITR front calipers, but the piston seal appears to be shot, and Im wondering if that can be repaired? Ive heard that if calipers are in that bad of shape then you shouldnt even bother trying to fix them. What do you guys think? If anyone wants to buy them and fix them yourself, make me an offer because I dont need them.
There is a Seal Kit you can purchase to rebuild them. On the other hand, you can probably get calipers for cheap cheap from me.
Provided that you do send your old caliper back as a core.

the rebuild kits are about $20 each for the fronts. i plan to rebuild both of mine this winter.
len, what do you consider cheap? as i've heard doing this may be a PITA.

you need compressed air to force the old piston out, otherwise i believe it is pretty straight forward.
are spoon calipers rebuildable? i dont think they have dust seals, but i have never seen any rebuild kit for them.

i would think any caliper is rebuildable if you can get the replacement seals and crap.
unfortunately you can not get the necessary parts to reubild spoon calipers so until spoon allows you to buy the parts they are NOT rebuildable
