Default High Compression D16Y8 - Need Some input

My planned setup...

D16Y8
P29 pistons
Stage 2 Cam/springs/retainers
12.6:1 Compression Ratio

If i do bump my compression up this high (12.6:1) will i have to do anything more to the head than a cam/springs/retainers? Will stock valves hold that compression? Next question is...will this setup (12.6:1 compression with Stage 2 Cam) pass emissions? It will be my daily driver so i want to hear comments on similar setups.
Thanks,
VINCE

I run the Crower Stage 2, I hear that it will not pass emissions. Its worth it though! I just wanted to give you a bump because I already have the Stage2 valvetrain and am now also looking for a good deal on pistons to bump the compression. Good luck man, keep me posted!

if youre going to go that high on compression why don't you look into stage3 cams seems like a waste of compression if you don't. and on most stage2 cams if says that there is replacing of valve train parts, i would def replace the valves. as or the emissions test i dunno in CA you wouldn't but i don't know how strict PA is

Is anyone in PA on this board running a Stage 2 cam? or anything like that? Zex Street/Strip? I mean is it the Compression that will determine emissions or the Cam that will. The reason i want a stage 2 is because it is a daily driver...i've put this question in several posts but no one can clearly answer my question. I am in PA, i wont need to pass CA smog, just emissions. Anyone with a smilar setup please elaborate!

Thanks,
