Is it possible to quiet down an exhaust by adding a resonator in between the b-pipe? If so, what size should I go for, the longer the quieter or is it depends on what material used inside the resonator?

Is it better to go for a branded one or just get a muffler shop to made one up?

Any local muffler shop, not something like Midas! (they only have prebent catbacks for certain cars) But a local shop will have resonators lying around ready to be welded in. Yeah pretty much the longer the quieter.
