Default Silicone hoses

I bought some silicone hoses and wanted to change my vaccum hoses in my car is this a good idea? Can this ruin my car? or

silicone has a lower drag efficiency when it comes to air currents. that is, they work better than stock. so yes they will help out but usually you seea major amount of improvement in cars that have forced induction over n/a
