Default Manual Boost Controller?

What are the limits on these? How much boost can you make? My wastegate w/o any controller can make 30lbs, but Im needing more? Im tired of expensive progressive boost controllers not working properly?

thanks

yeah i have, that is when we lost motor in Bristol. Very unreliable for me, boost varies 1 to 5lbs. It shoots way past the target then backs down, Sometimes the thing wont even let me go past 17lbs of boost??? I just want something simple and NON ELECTRONIC.

hmmmm maybe the pressure sensor that came with the kit is bad?have you tested it? just apply regulated shop air to say 50psi to the sensor and as the pressure rises the increase solenoid will start to click and should slow down about 48psi and at 50psi the decrease solenoid will open and start to dump pressure.
tried this?

With a manual boost controller set to over 30psi you're gonna have major traction issues!!! You need a good gear based boost controller. Motec will do everything you want, or the WORLD electronics boost controller if you don't want to spend money on a motec.

Cause they've been testing it. It will be available for sale in the next few weeks. It would fluctuate a pound or so from the target and they weren't happy with that. It's dead nuts on now. Within 1%. It's the only gear based boost controller that i've actually seen work right!
