OBD 2 question.

Default OBD 2 question.

Is it true there are two different versions of OBD2 wiring depending on the year the car was made. A guy that I was thinking of getting an engine from told me that 96-98 civics and 99-2000 civics have different OBD2 wiring.

yes there is a difference from 96-98 and 99-00. It is true that there is "OBD2A" and "OBD2B"
