Hey all, reporting live from DC....**** is crazy here but not as crazy as one would expect. I tried to walk down to the White House which is 3 blocks from my house, but cops turned me back. Not sure how the rest of this is going to play out, I sure hope that we don't have another war.

And to Spyder, who is ecstatic that we have Bush as our president...YOU ARE A ******* FOOL. Bush is the one getting us into all this ****, throwing our weight around overseas and pissing off all the other countries. This terrorist attack may have still happened if Clinton were our President, but other countries will be emboldened by this, trust me. America's image as the invincible nation is in tatters, and nations that Bush has been pissing off will not hesitate to attack us, now that they see it can be done. Diplomacy is the way to peace, not fighting, you ignorant ********. If you're so gung-ho about fighting, you should be in the first wave of soldiers we send over to Afghanistan to get butchered. **** you and your confederate flag. Republicans bring us two things, recessions and war. Bush is now bringing us both and he is still in his first year of office.

Yes, I am glad that Bush is our president. I think he will handle the situation correctly. I may be proved wrong, that is yet to be seen.

Diplomacy is good, but there is a time when fighting becomes necessary. Think back to the 13 colonies revolution against England. They wanted freedom, and they tried to get it through diplomacy. That failed, so they had to fight. We won our freedom, and we now have a great relationship with England.

You are correct. The nations Bush has been "pissing off" as you put it, will not hesitate to attack us. That is because the image of our strength has been weakened by previous presidents and legislation, one example of which is Clinton's shrinking of the military.

If it comes to war and it becomes necessary for me to fight, I will do so. Sure I'll be scared as hell, but I'm willing to fight for what I believe in.

The recession you are claiming was brought to us by Republicans started under Clinton, a Democrat.

The civil war was not fought over slavery, it was fought over state's rights. If you have some other reason, then I will be more than happy to considder it, and if it is reasonable then I will take down my avatar.

I had intended for my comment about Bush to just be a passing remark (and note that I was not the first one to say what I said). You are the one who has blown it up into a big argument, so don't try to blame that one on me.

Now, as has already been said, let's put all this political BS behind us until this mess gets all sorted out. After that, if you want to take up the argument again, fine, I will be happy to discuss it with you. But NOT NOW...

Glad you guys are all okay!! I'm in Purdue right now and several of my classes have been cancelled because of those stupid Islamic *****. I'm not saying all islamic people are bad, but I just cannot understand the joy that these Middle Eastern countries get seeing us suffer. Back home in Chicago, everything including the Sears tower is closed because of this incidence. Gas prices have jumped to $3.00 a gallon. Several students in campus are being harrassed and some are being seriously beaten just for being Middle Eastern or Muslim. Its people like Osama BinLadin and terrorists like that that give Islamic people a bad name. I just cannot believe innocent guys are being beaten here just because of their race. I mean I'm not Muslim, but that doesn't mean I hate all Muslim people. Its just that I think, personally, that their whole religion is fucked up. Even in their Kuran, it says to eliminate all Jews! I have never heard of any religion that promotes violence and treat people like dirt as does the Islamic religion. Damn!! Its getting pretty insane here. Worst of all, I think our whole economy is basically shattered and we're going to have another World War. All I'm just saying right now is that we all have to join together, hand-in-hand, no matter what race or religion you are, no matter Who you believe in; we have to PRAY for this to stop, PRAY for the victims and their families, PRAY for us that we may not start to hate and enjoy violence as these terrorists and their countries do, and most of all PRAY for all the terrorists that they should soon experience what they deserve and not continue their hate crimes.

Im 15minutes outside of the pentagon and have been watching everything closely. There are battleships deployed along the east coast to prevent another attack...

At this point, lets just hope no biological warfare was deployed. So far there have been no signs of it.

Personally. I think, the reason the US is attacked is because it is basically, ISRAEL's only true ally.

I don't know if you know this but, ISRAEL is the most hated country in the world. A little bit ago, like weeks, ISRAEL and the USA walked out of a UN meeting...they were the only 2 countries to leave out of what? 177? ALot.

The US and ISRAEL will be persecuted and attacked forever. Expecially ISRAEL. As it says in the bible, for you religious folks....ISRAEL will be the target of the world...and the most hated. And they are.

First of all... takes tons of guts to rant on a message board full of people you have never met, and probably never will meet. what REALLY takes tons of guts to show off an amazing four-letter vocabulary that almost any 9 year old knows. Why can't people just use decent english? Calm down there Ross, no need to burst a blood vessel or anything...

Also, where do you get in the Bible that Israel is invincible? It's possible that I may have missed it, but I don't think it is in there.

 

What your precious little flag represents in my eyes:

1. Generations of hooded klansmen/good ol boys, that hung, raped, oppressed, lynched, and, dehumanized blacks for decades. And still do, given the chance.

2. Ignorance.

3. Pure evil.

That flag may fly in dixie. But not here in NYC. People have gotten there head bashed in just for "passin thru" with that flag on their car. Keep it below the mason dixon line!!!
