if you put a c1 into a eg and try to put exhaust back on then you have a shortage in piping. well when we finish the swap i wsa thinking of get some custom piping full exhaust w/magnaflow muffler and without cat. sooner or later i will go turbo but now im not. so wha do i do? go 3inch now or 2.5? if i do 3 will it sound shitty?

I have that set-up. Since I was not sure if I was going N/A or what I went with 2.5 piping that ran me $130. I am going to boost next year if everything goes right and will upgrade to mendral bent 3" piping. IMO, 3" would be too large for a stock GSR motor. I hope you aren't going to try and use the EG piping. Mine was well under 2" diameter and is NOT enough flow for the GSR.
