well i have not driven my car in about 2 weeks due to my broken ankle. yesterday i went out to look the car over and start the enigne up and let it get warm for a while. well i was looking at my front lip (i had ran it into a ditch about a month ago but only bent the underneath clip for the lip). and i noticed that the paint was chipping off around the coner lenses and on one spot on the front bumper. so my question is has anyone else had a problem with this? is it comon for paint to just chip off on our tegs or is it just me? also i will put up pictures in just alittle bit of the paint once i go outside and its not so damn cold.
here are some of the corner lenses
and one to show the damage that i caused to the clip when i drove into a ditch (dont move your car 10 feet when you are drunk)

take your car to a reputable body shop and have it repainted. i don't know what else you want to hear, when a car isn't painted or prepped correctly chips like that happen. Or it could have to do with you running into a ditch and possibly warping the front bumper and causing the chipping.
Either way, don't go near your car when your drunk. You get a
from me, have more respect for your car when your drunk.....I hope that last statement didn't mean driving it drunk, if so then your lucky that the only thing that happened was the chip.

what road warrior didn't have battle damage? You guys would vomit if you saw a recent pic of mine.
I think there is blood spray from where I hit a opossom and the paint is cracked/webbed. lol

what you should have done was had a carfax report to check if it was in an accident before you got the car...original paint does not peel like that. its durable enough not to peel/crack unless youre that careless of a driver and you live in the mojave desert. My front bumper has rock chips on the front, and it leaves a whitish/yellow scar. original paint doesnt do that.

my whole front of what i call my battle bumper does that.. it was the first bumper i had.. it had been bondoed and repainted twice the second time cheaply.. and it flaked like whoa..
rock chips just started to chip away at it.. and with heat cold freeway driving it kept on flaking.. i blame it on a cheap paint job.. and me being to cheap to pay for a good job.. lol.. it gets worse everyday.. first the clearcoat went.. then the paint started to flake.. lol... reminds me of a everlasting gobstopper.. purple purple pink...
i have a clean show bumper.. but heck if i put that on my car.. lol..

i did have a carfax done. it said no major accidents have been reported. if it was in a minor fender bender there is no way to tell that on a carfax report. oh well i guess it had been repainted before but i dont care. i guess i will just deal with what is dealt to me.
