just got into an accident and thinking of repainting my whole car. i was thinking more of a silver or gunmetal paint. anyone know any good silver or suggestions??

FBP all the way.....plus no hassle of unpainted engine bay ..........the blacks may not mach but who the hell could tell anyways?

Don't be afraid to try something different.

Pick a color you like.

Have your car painted that color.

Keep in mind, its your car and you drive it everyday. Don't pick a popular JdM color because it will appease the masses on ht.

 

are you getting the interior and engine compartment done or just the exterior? I wouldnt suggest a color change if you were going to do it ghetto style.

bro dont paint it at all... that totally kills the value of the car. That paint doesnt looked fucked at all.. you should def keep it oe, put your money into a turbo kit, or some pistons and cams..

i say fix it and put a JDM front on it......there is absolutely nothing like factory paint

Factory paint isn't all that. What are you talking about? Mass-production paint. BLAH.

Anyways, if you were to fix it, I'd repaint the whole car to match it. As for color, that's entirely up to you. Having the car black is a bonus to you though, the engine bay will look fine black.

i didnt know in japan people see different colors that we cant.

I would go with gunmetal if I were you. I have a black car and I'm sure you know as well as I do that it's a bitch to keep clean!

On the other hand, black does look really good when it's clean!

The only thing I would question is whether or not you are going to paint the engine bay, if you are, go with gunmetal or another color, if not, then just spray some black on there. Personally I don't like it when the engine bay is a different color than the rest of the car, it looks kinda sloppy to me... But that's just my $.02

 

another downside....is keeping it clean......But what the hell do you have to worry about your in san jose

 

id either repaint it black, but not a fucked up honda black.. honda blacks always have blue or red pearl in it.. sucks.. id paint it like audi TT or BMW black.. nice n glossy with no pearl..

or id go and paint it a nice, bright red.. like the new toyota tacoma red..

or if silver is what u like, there is a new silver color on the new IS300's thats pretty nice.
