does new oil change make car slow
whats up guys......i changed my oil a day before i went to the track....on track day....my car felt boggy as hell....u think by having new oil in the motor makes the car slower?? i heard that u have to break in new oil for like 500 miles.....oh yeah i have a gsr with i/h/e.....and i ran a 16.0
a little too much oil can cause some lose in power.
The rotating/reciprocating parts are going to 'slow' down when they come in contact with all the fluid.
If you've chaged weights, there could be some issues there (don't know how much you would actually feel though).
Perhalps there a slight change in oil pressure, making your vtec activate a little differently.

Changing your oil CORRECTLY should NOT make your car slower under any conditions. checl if you [ut too mutch oil or maybe not enough. also check if you knocked any vacuum lines loose
you will normally gain a small amount of power.. on my motorcycle i lost A LOT of power due to overfilling... i guess the factory put the wrong dipstick on my bike and it was about 6 inches too short... ouch
