Tranny Swap.
Ok, I know im still new and all, and probably have no idea what i am talking about.. but has any one thought about swapping out their trans for the 6 speed RSX-S??????
Would the gear ratio's be any better or is it a useless swap???
Just curious.. not plan on doing.. just wondered if it crossed any one else mind yet, and opinions on it.

From overhauling mine i dont think theres enough room to add another gear
If you were really good at machining you might be able to pull it off
as far as a bolt on.....i doubt it

I don't know why everbody's got a hard-on for 6-speed trannies.
As far as I'm concerned, you don't need more than five forward ratios. Adding a sixth just increases weight unnecessarily. And I hate unnecessary weight. What a waste.

I already posted the same question in the hybrid forum and basically your answer is: NO.
A. The tranny from the new I-vtec moves completely opposite to any b-series engine.
B. It would not be worth the work.
C. Buy a 6-speed tranny for $15K
