i've search the all motor forum and couldn't find a topic on the mugen computer..

my question is that... has anyone in here used it (the authentic one) and if they have... did you need to change the valve springs???

this ecu will be used on a JDM ITR 98 spec

 

Ed (Zygspeed) had one and used it. The reason Mugen recomends replacing your valve springs is because of the 9.100 rpm rev limit.

 

I use Mugen ecu from 30k miles on stock valve springs.
All perfect on a 85k miles ITR engine.
