ould my 97 b18c1 b18c5 camshafts

Default b18c5 camshafts vs. b18c1

i have heard that there is no difference between itr exhaust camshafts and gsr exhaust camshafts could my 97 b18c1 properly function withj only a type r intake cam?

Yes it can with only the intake cam. Some people only use the intake cam because on b16's and b18c's have dual valve springs only on the intake side. So really, if you want to do it right ,only run the intake cam unless you plan on upgrading your valve springs on the exhaust side. As far as the difference between itr and gsr cams they are not the same. You are thinking of the Civic Type-R the intake is a ctr intake cam but the ctr exhaust cam actually is a ITR exhaust cam.
