Are you spliting the mixture from the roof of the port to go around the valve guide?

That looks Pimp...is that a GSR head?

Dave,

Yea, that little ramp is there to help move the air/fuel around the guide, .. but also there cause I was trying not to remove all the guide boss, .. .. help support the guide.

GSR head, ..

what would flow better overall, having these little winglets or having the guide boss ground down completely?

Ahhh, asking sercets from a head porter, ..

Truth, .. I didn't see anything on the flow bench. I'm very big on things being mechanically correct. I know other porters have trouble with the guide moving in the head, .. so that little hump was left to help support the valve but still get the benefits of porting around the sides of the guide.

Race port, .. but I guess you can drive anything on the street.
