I took out my subwoofer but left the heavy amps in so I should be close to stock weight. I am running without a spare and jack but that should cancel out with the amps.

Nice job. Maybe trade/sell the 17's and get some 15's in return?

Where did you shift at? I was shifting at redline and I saw a 1-2 mph increase in my trap speed along with better 1/4 mile times.

very good times. you've got a strong and potent motor on your hands.

definately get some 15's and start modding that thing.

what are your future plans?

Well honestly I drive too much right now (25k a year) to do any major (turbo) work on my car so I am just going to leave it alone untill I start driving less. My current plans are:
15" wheels
DIY grounding kit
Get money for more mods

i around 8k i suppose, i dont really stare at the tach all too much. i just shift when i hear that engine scream! ive hit the fuel cut, so i guess im shifting before 8100

when i ran the car, the alignment was way off, had really old oil and a shitty short ram intake. im gonna take it back with a fresh oil change, nice straight alignment and an aem cai. gonna try and break a 14.9. if i cant, that power steering belt is coming off.!

14.9 on a GSR with just a intake? Your shitting me or what? Are they really capable of 14's with just intake without any weight reduction? Wow, if that's the case. Should I be expecting 14's also? I think not

i did a 15.06 with just intake, no weight reductions at all, still have ac and power steering. so im sure high 14's are very possible. im sure the 4dr might be 2 or 3 tenths slower. just cuz of the extra weight

I pulled 15.07 in my GS-R w/ no engine mods at all (stock airbox w/ K&N), just suspension, clutch and flywheel, no weight reduction.

With weight reduction I pulled 15.01 w/ worse tires, and stock clutch and flywheel.

I just couldn't get my 60' below 2.35

I am also on 17" rims! If I were on 15's I could probably bring that time down a tenth or two. 14.9 is very capable in a GSR with just an intake. It is all up to the driver. Anyone know what I could get if my 60' times were around 2.20?

2-3 tenths more with just 100 or so xtra pounds? hmphh i dont think so. That's the weight difference between 2 dr gsr and 4 dr gsr's, hundred or so lbs.
