CRV noise while turning
A friend of mine increased his tire size to 205/75/15 on stock wheels ('00 model). He's wondering where the squeeking noise is coming from up front under hard, low speed turns. He's checked for clearance and has found no rubbing. The noise does not seem to be from the tires. Any ideas?
The CRV belongs to a friend and it's a 4x4. I drive an S2000 and an old Toyota 4x4.
I think the tire noise is the likely culprit, he said he's running "bias-ply" tires since they run this thing over rough ranch roads.
I'll see the CRV tomorrow and figure this out.
Thanks for the help.
