the 99-00 Si readings are pretty bad. I have a VAFC and the stock one is about 200 off.
I would still never get one; even when I shift 9,500.

Yeah, I got mine purely because my stock tach is so damn far off in the upper RPMs, plus I like tick marks after 8000 RPM, haha. I do mostly use the shift light when I race though, but once I get into third gear I tend to use the RPMs instead of the shift light.

whats the point of having 2 tachs?
"accurate reading" LOL, the dumbest excuse i ever heard.
someone sue me, my tach is .600 rpm off what my tach should be.

One of my friend had it in his car, and i always wanted one, ever since. accurate reading is just an accuse
I push my car to 8,500 on my stock tach, i know my redline is not that high, fuel cuts off at 8200. I like the looks of the tach, so sue me.
I wanna try it out, if i like it i'll keep it.
It looks nice imo it doesn't matter to me if its rice or not.
to all of you jdm gurus, at the end of the day, i'm the one driving that RICER car not you, so don't worry about it.

Unless you have had one, then you won't understand. I don't know how your tach works, but I know mine doesn't even have tick marks after 8000 RPM. I like to know what RPM I am shifting at, and I like the simpleness of changing my shift light setting accordingly.
