Default My new build!!

I am starting my build tommorow, and cant wait to get it going. Here is my future setup. So any comments or suggestions, let me have em. Heres the setup:

already have)

*b18c5 block sleeved w/ AEBS 84.5mm sleeves
*Golden Eagle forged rods
*SRP forged 12:1 pistons
*OEM gskets 7 bearing
*b18c5 cylinder head (looking to be port/polished eventually)
*Ferrea valvesprings & retainers
*Skunk2 cam gears
*JG/Edelbrock intake manifold (got at junkyard for $25)
*RC Engineering 370cc fuel injectors

need to get)

*camshafts (looking at toda b's or c's)
*throttle body (gonna start off with itr body)
*header
*FPR (lookin at aeromotive)

So, thats what I am have, and what I need to get. I would like some advice on camshaft selection, and some advice on cylinder head porting. Im in no rush to finish her, as this is my winter project.

Ben

Sounds like a pretty killer set-up. I didn't know GE made rods?

I bought my rods of ebay, as Golden Eagle forged h beam connecting rods. I paid around $300 for them. Eagle or Golden Eagle, I think i got a solid deal.

Camshafts: Todas are nice as long as you have the money to pay for them, look into the newer companies like ef-1.
Header: for your setup I would recommend a header like smsp or 10-94 motorsports.

I was talking to someone at the track a few months back about cams. He had Toda C's, and his idle was horrible. Can Toda C's be daily reliable with tuining? Are there any specific ef-1 cams u recomend?

I would run skunk2 sg 2 cams. Good idle and have proven to be the best street cam on the market. for cylinder head work check out dh-racing.com. They made 190 whp w/ a b16a running a stock block and only ctr cams. Motor made 160 whp before the head so the #'s are the best I have seen. The dyno is on importreview.com under dyno section 1.6 record breaker.
