I am looking in my power steering fluid resivior 2k Civic EX, and I see it is probably down 1/2 to 2/3 of the way, so I need more fluid? It is a cold engine. I know it is noob, but I never dealt with PS fluid at all. Thank you.

 

it has a min and max on the resoirvor, so if its in there your alright, if it needs fluid fill it up

 

if it is low than you have a leak somewhere. most likel;y in your steering rack.

 

It has always been very smoooth until the last month, .. so I am thinking I hit something hard and it is leaking... Where is this rack you speak of? So I can check.
