putting crx si cam in dx head

putting crx si cam in dx head

Is this just a direct boltin, I have a 93 civic dx motor(D15B7) and have a 91' crx si cam.. Also will the cam timing be off and if so can I just advance it or retard it 1 tooth.. How much of a difference over the stock D15B7 cam will it make.. Thanks

it's the same, no adjustments needed, you may want to buy some new Si springs because the B7s are only good to about 5500rpm with the Si cam. I'm runing a B1 with a B7 head and Si cam and no problems
edit: this cam will pull hard untill 6800rpm and then the power fades out... but your car can only go 6500 with stock rev limiter so no worrys their

Ahh.. So it does make a good difference between the dx and the si cam.. Ill have to look at the junkyard this weekend and get the cam the springs..
