my friend actually made a ls fit on a gsr it fit somehow! he had a lsvtec , and he made it fit, use the right gasket, i think

 

anyone else?

Yes it will fit depending on your generation of your teg. Generally the only difference is the map sensor placement on the TB. Of course your best bet would to go with a bored out TB and a skunk manifold which will give you more airflow but the gains between a bored out TB and an ITR TB isn't much. So save some money and get your TB bored out instead of getting a new one. I've seen an ITR TB produce no HP gain except for 1LB of Torque when compared to an bored out TB.

Well I will be boosted soon if that'll make a difference. So i'm thinkin a bored out GSR throttle body + skunk2 or JG manifold will help. What all has to be done to fit the throttle body on it? throttle cable bracket, what?

I'm pretty sure the B20 throttle body is larger diameter than the LS... I have heard of people putting a Skunk2 IM and B20 TB for good gains... However, I'm not exactly sure what the difference in diameter is between the two... HTH...

I guess I'm better off buying a larger aftermarket TB...

 

skunk2 IM has a 64mm plenum. gsr will fit on a b18 or b20 IM, but you have to run the throttle cable from the other side.

 

i think thats the same with ITR, you have to reroute the throttle cable too

 

i have a gsr throttle body / cable on my LS.

I believe its 70mm, earlier this morning I was checking my tps and decided to see if the TB opening to the IM was fitting perfectly of if I would have to bore it out a bit and it felt as if it was a direct perfect bore.

 

Ok well I just got off the phone with SKUNK2 and the guy said that this year they started manufacturing the bore of TB at 70mm

ITR will fit. Skunk2 alpha 70mm will also fit
