Making the fastest street car in Denmark
My goal for next year will be to make the fastest street car in Denmark. There is a big event every year called "The fastest street legal car in Denmark". The car has to be with license plates.
It's not allowed to use: NOS, slicks, methanol or race gas.
Drag radials are ok to use so what size should I use?
Right now I have a 11.5:1 B20VTEC making 185 whp untuned. This spring I will have 220+ whp in my CRX EE8. The EE8 is heavy as hell with leather seats, power windows etc. at 2300 lbs. Last year a Escort Cossie won with a 12.3 so that will be my goal to beat.
How much will I have to gut it out to make a 12.2 time and how do I do it the best way so I can ride it every day?

Well at the event I will strip it but without having to much problems getting it back in. I was thinking about taking the leather seats out and replace them with a light Sparco. Remove the backseats and the spare wheel. What elso can I do and what weight should I aim for to make a 12.2?
I was thinking about using some light 15" rims with Yokohama A038 which are street slicks.

I have not been on the track because of the bad weather here. I engine was built a month ago so I can first test it out in march when the tracks open again.

Try the BFG Drag Radials,( very sticky street tires).
205 x 55 x 15 inch, at 16 psi should work great with 1.9/2.0 60 foots.
Good luck at the event.
