Here's my swap shop

It's kind of hard to tell from the pics, but the "shop" is about 1/2 acre with wall to wall grass and an oak engine hoist.

This is where my friend and I did his swap, this garage is next to his house

homemade Honda spring compressor that works GREAT w/ an air wrench

The garage is 3 bays wide w/ industrial roll-up doors. You can see the oil change pit in there, and the nice hoist used to lift the engine. The engine can also rotate on the hoist, which is a real big help. The hoist is geared real low w/ that chain, so it's real easy to raise and lower the engine just fractions of an inch at a time while you're trying to guide it into place.

in a middle of road course race with a bunch of WRX and sti, one of car's motor is fu-ked, the big daddy mechanic swap the engine in 15 min with no engine horst(sp), two big asian guys is holding the motor on their back with a piece of metal pipe, it's sweet

It was sweet having a garage to work in.... that is until the Homo-owner's association stepped in and slapped us with a fine. They withdrew the fine after we threatened legal actions, but regardless the end result was we cannot use the garage for mechanical work. A garage! lol!

conservative ******
