I was checking out hondaswap.com and in there "Reference" section it says the weights of all the cars... it say my eg weighs 2178... and it says a 96 cx or dx wieghes 2222..... not much difference... is this true??

 

PROBABLY.
but my 1992 CX weighed 2040 from the factory which is MUCH lighter than your quoted 2222 for a 1996 CX

 

Do you have an si? 92-95 si's generally weighed more then the 6th gen's because they were only CX and DX models. Unless you had opt. a/c and p/s.

 

mine is a 92 dx...
