has ne bored out their block to 85mm for the pistons? how much does it cost to bore out the block? which pistons did u guys use and rods? i hear CP pistons and Eagle rods are good? how much of an increase of compression would this come out to be
yer better off with either a b16b block, gsr or itr block.
b16a at 85mm resleeved won't get you close to 2.0 ....
cp pistons aren't just good..they're great.
it seems like you need to do more searching.

boring out to 85mm requires complete resleeving..so figure around 1000+ for sleeving and machine shop work. Also I believe that boring out does not affect compression, only displacement.
Who said he wanted to go to 2.0L? He just said he wanted to bore out to 85mm. You can do this no problem, I'm doing it, but you need to have the block resleeved. Spark Racing is doing a $750 deal on RS Machines sleeves right now through Christmas.
Also boring out a motor has everything to do with displacement AND compression. You take two pistons with same dome displacement and the larger bore one gives you more compression every time. Just by boring out your motor to 85mm though doesn't give you a SET compression. It's all about what you want. You can get 85mm pistons in 7:1 or 14:1 it's up to you.
