Took the Civic to Irwindale to work on launching. My 60's to this point have been high 1.9's to low 2.0's. Very happy with new best 60' time: 1.722. Was launching at 6,000 rpm before-but Trever and IB Jeff told me to try launching higher, so I did. Launching at 7,500-8,000 now. What do you know-it works!

Don't have a scanner, but here are a couple of my times:

Going to play with a different intake manifold and a bigger throttle body to see if I can squeeze some more HP out of the motor. Also going to lighten the car by another 100 lbs. in the next couple of months---shooting for 11's in the quarter by next summer. We'll see...

looks like i might start playing with different launch techniques anyways congrats on the low 60 ft times.

 

looks good, ur goin to need more than what u got though. u will need ETs in the 7.5 range at 89-91 MPH in the 1/8th to break 11s.
