Here's some movie shots I took from last night. I only had a 64mb memory card with me, so I couldn't film much
I also missed filming a race with an FD3S and a crazy R32 GTR..
Anyway, now you can all have a taste of the Thai Midnight Racing scene
This was a Thursday night - so it was rather quiet. Lets see if I can get some more movies on Friday/Saturday night
If you're on a slow connection (like I am), then just right click on the link below and select "save target as.."
:: tmr1 (v2) (WMV, 34.6mb)
enjoy

There's a 2JZ-GTE with a T88-34D under the hood of that old *** sedan
The cops are there till 3am (checking for drunk drivers, since there's a lot of pubs along that stretch of road), then they kindly ask the racers to please not race for too long, because they're going to go back to the station and they can't be bothered to come all the way back

Usually its a free-for-all. Anyone who wants to race just joins in. There's a 2km stretch of road with u-turns at each end. Some of the races later had someone signalling "go" - but that was only for those who were putting money down on the race.
There was lots of donut action too, but that happened before i arrived

damn that's fast - and to think I'm on a 56k snailmodem..
My webhosting isn't cheap either - but performance, reliability, and service is the best i've seen so far.
btw, i've uploaded a re-encoded version of the video - hopefully it'll be a bit clearer (sound/video) - still will be reasonably dark though..

The Cressida was sold in the USA from the early 80's to about 92 I think, and was RWD. The later years had the 7M-GE, shared w/ the non-turbo 3rd gen Supra, so whatever car that was called over there.

There's usually not enough time to properly stage due to the fact that there is small, but constant stream of cars going down that road.
TP, when we gonna see some in-car vids?
