ok guys ive got a 96 coupe ex, w/ b18c5 motor. i have the factory usdm type r header and i pretty sure with factory civic ex cat and exhaust. Now i want to get a JDM header which means i will need a 2.5in cat, so i was wondering will the civic type r or integra type r cat be a direct exact replacment of my stock EX cat?? and also i know the civ and teg r cats have 2.5 inch inlet but is their outlet 2.5 or 2.25.

i dont know the exact measurements but jdm cats are shorter then usdm, free bump no the outlet is not 2.5 its about 2-2.25

 

if u use a catback for usdm cars youll have to drill the holes where it attaches to cat out a little to fit

 

damn so it wont be a direct replacement

 

the jdm header will bolt up perfect to the jdm cat, i dont know the actual length of the jdm cat, if u do use the jdm cat youll have to drill the holes out a little if ur running a us spec exhaust i did this and it took 10minutes
