Default Lowering a 96 Accord

Hey guys. I got a friend that would like to lower his accord and put some 16' wheels on it. I'm just wondering what you guys think is a good way to lower it. Taking into consideration that he doesn't have the money for coilovers and he needs to drive this in the winter over here, so not too big of a drop. Any help at all would be great guys.

Thanks.

Either Neuspeed Race/Sport or Eibach Sportline/Prokit springs
And a good set of shocks, I suggest Koni Sport or KYB AGX, but those may be a little pricey for him.

There's just one problem though, how are those 16' wheels going to fit under a dropped car? Just kidding.

I have a gently used set of Ground Control coilovers for sale. He can adjust to how low he would like it - .5" to 3.5". See my sig for my "for sale" list. Thanks.

Well the thing is our speed bumps at school are really high and he scrapes going over them on stock suspension. But that doesn't really matter since there is more than 1 parking lot at our school.

Yeah.. anything lower than 2" is pushing it on 5th gens.. camber is all out of whack. Tein S-tech springs and h&R Race Springs are cheap.. like $150.. install should cost u nothing if you have a compressor... and later on he can get some shocks.. gotta save up for some decent ones too.

if he is going to run 16s he beter not get super low profile....since that will make ur car even lower. he shouldnt get anything lower than a 50....i had 45s on my car at one time and they were like a inch smaller than my factory wheels
