Look what happens when you take your car to a dealership.

Thats messed up dude.
Honestly, alot of those roberies (I think) are inside jobs.
For example:
A friend of mine took his c5 vette to a dealership, specifically told them to lock it up, and park it inside.
Considently, it was parked outside, unlooked and he had about $5,000 in audio / video stolen from it.
So shady, sorry for your loss.

I would let them total it, and buy it back. From what I see there's less than $1000 worth of damage. I'm sorry for your loss, and it sucks. Was there no security on the lot? Most dealerships around here have security patroling all night. And honestaly the inside job theory is a good one, not just for your ride but for all the others that have had the same thing happen. bTW: what's all gone? front seats, cluster, shift ****, radio(?), and a broken window?

They was working on my motor and my head was at the machine shop so the cams were in the trunk along with some other stuff they also took my intake and valve cover. the dealership said the seats alone are going to be at least $3000 and then they have to get a new head so we will see what happens but im not going to let them total it
there ya go!!

In my state, the insurance won't allow you to buy back a car that has been robbed/totalled. this is because years ago people would have their car stolen, then buy it back from the insurance company to have insured at a cheaper rate since it was a "theft recovery." Insurace companies obviously caught onto this and now most (if not all) will not allow you to buy back certain totalled theft'd cars.
Also, when i went to buy back a totalled car i owned. The insurance adjuster i was dealing with was telling me my car was only worth X amount of dollars. So when i asked how much to buy it back, he was telling me it'll cost more money than usual because salvage yards can part a lot out of a honda. Stay on top of your insurance company, no matter what they tell you. Even if you have reciepts for everything you had in it, they'll still low ball you. It'll be the weirdest thing"bidding" on your very own car, but don't settle for a low number!!! Even though they'll probably tell you that they stand firm at some dollar amount bid for your car, they're still somewhat flexible.
But once you sign any papers giving them any kind of rights, or if you accept a check from them, your car will then belong to THEM. Good luck, and post here if you have any questions. Or just PM me!

Does the dealership have a surveilance camera? Most of them do.
It looks like all they took was the front seats, floor mats, shift ****, and inst. panal. What a bunch of freakin' low lifes.
Wouldn't it be a great feeling to give those thieves the beating of a life time? You know its just a bunch of skinny, acne-faced geeks who live in their parents basement.

I think it was somebody that works there also or has a friend that knows what happend. No the dealership does not have cameras and this is the third time in the last 3 weeks cars got broken into at this dealership. So i think that dealership needs to do something about this.
Dam dude that freakin sux. Sorry for your loss cause that car looked freakin nice. The dealership really needs to get some better security around there. That's some crap and I would let everyone at that dealership know about it.
