Default swapping ecu's

hey whats up everyone, i was on the net searching around and i saw that someone with a 90 crx si swapped out there pm6 for a pr4 ecu (90-93 integra) ecu, i was just wondering what are the gains from this? a higher redline? but wont that mess up the d16a6? i mean your cars running like a dohc instead of sohc. over time wont that mess up your motor?

i jus wanna know cause ima have a spare ecu laying around off my 90 integra ls, and i was gonna put it in my rex to see whats the diffrence, i dont wanna screw anything up though so thats why im asking in advance. and if theres people on here that have swapped the ecu, can u tell me how it ran, is it night and day or what?

I actually did this to my d16A6 in my 90 Si. Pretty much it has more aggressive fuel curve and you'll run a little rich. I'm not sure about the redline though but it should be around 6800.

This is something you may want to consider if your going to turbo your car budget wise
