ek side skirts on ef???
I don't have any pics, but given the time, money, and dedication, you can make almost anything fit on anything. I'd imagine that if you were to cut the side skirts you could make them the proper length and then use bondo to fill the seam. Just a quick idea...
well i just heard that this has been done before and im interested in doing it i just think my EF just looks plain with out them
That's cool.... If you want to do this.
This is how I would do it.
1. Measure the length of the chassis that is in between the wheels.
2. Measure the lenght of the side skirt that you are using.
3. Cut the side skirt at a point where not too many surface changes are happening. ( this will make it easier when you have to blend the bondo in)
4. Make new holes to screw the side skirts to the bottom of the car.
5. secure the two pieces so that the front and the back are flush with the wheel wells.
6. Apply the bondo. Allow addquite time to harden.
7. Take the sideskirt off of the car.
8. Sand down the bondo and try your best to maintain the contours of the surface.
9. Clean, primer, and paint your skirts with the color of your choice.
10. Put them on the car.
This is quick and it should work. The only problem that you should have will be lining up the clips that hold the side skirts on. However, with a little creativity you should be able to work things out. Good Luck! If you try it let me know how it turns out....
