Front airdam / splitter rule clarification (HC)

is the airdam you add allowed to have any holes in it (for brake cooling or anything else)?

e) Brakes may be ducted from existing holes in the vehicle’s bodywork provided they extend in a forward direction. Auxiliary lights not listed as “required” items in this rulebook may be removed to facilitate brake cooling ducts.

The current bodywork rules will most likely be undergoing major changes for '04. I'd hold off to see what they say.

not that my car is near ready or anything, but there is going to be precious little time to make required changes after the rules are finally published
