Default can any product slow down the pealing of the clear coat?

I have a green 94 Accord, but the hood's clear coat is stripping. it gets worse everytime i wash it. it is about 2"by2" in the largest spot now. i was wondering if there is anyway i could seal the edges of the part that is stripping to stop it from spreading? the reason it spreads so easily is because water gets under the part that is partially lifted and further lifts more of it off the paint.

i was wondering if there is any clear coat type of thing that i could paint unto the edges of the part that is stripping to stop it from spreading?

I've heard that super glue or clear fingernail polish will work. I've never tried it though...
