I'm gonna take a guess on this and say a h22 or one of the k series engines. Fill in the rest of the details for me people.

I would agree on the H22. I have both a vr6 corrado and an h22 civic. As much as I like corrados, the h22 dominates over it. factory for factory. It's much lighter and has about 20 more horse but 10 less foot pounds torque

Here's a novel idea . . . how about we compare VW's 6-cylinder to Honda's 6-cylinder . . . The J-series in the Accord/CL/TL/RL/MDX/Odyssey.

That's what I was thinking. I have the J30 in a V6 Accord and love it. Actually has some torque and pulls pretty decently for a stock family car.

yah, i was kinda thinking that... two different brands, two different styles...

i guess a better way to phrase it would be, if you took two cars, exactly the same... and put a V6 Honda motor in one, and a V6 VW motor in the other... which would be more effective??
