Default LS/VTEC Compression Question

OK, here's my deal:

95 LS block, LS Crank, LS Rods, ARP Rod Bolts, etc.

CTR PISTONS STD BORE

Am I going to have any problems running this with a '99 B16A2 head??? as far as the Piston smaking the Valves because CTR Pistons have HUGE Domes???

What about pump gas, Here in FL we have 93 Octane will I be OK???

Please let me know if any of you have these pistons in you LS/VTECs and let me know what you think the Compression Ratio will be.

Thanks.

SHOULD be fine???

This isn't checkers we're playing here. I need concrete YES/NO answers, this is alot of money I'm dealing with.

Someone must be using CTR STD Bore pistons in their LS/VTEC with a B16A2 head.

HAHA.

OK...how about YES. Does that make u feel better? I'm sorry my wording presented doubt.

YES YOU WILL BE FINE...even with your stock high lift b16a2 cams

I know someone who used to have an lsvtec, gsr head, milled .030'', jun3s, ctr pistons....clearance was fine.

I've seen setups where the clearance was OK...but in all honestly...I would clay the motor to be 100% sure.

Btw Rod, I went to C-Speed Racings CR calculator and it came out to be 12.3:1, NOW will that be safe for 93 Octane???

0.035''

I've always heard that c-speeds comp calculator is a bit off. Most people say that Bojangs calculator is most accurate. http://www.bojangs.com/calculator/

I think that is fine on 93 octane. Tune it. Very important.
