YS1 lsd swapped into Y1 tranny easily?

YS1 lsd swapped into Y1 tranny easily?
Can the lsd from a Y1 tranny simply be swapped into a non-lsd Y1 transmisison. Are all the gearing and transmisison housing the same? Or is there more involved in the process
