Here's a stupid question about silencers....

OK, so I've got my N1. I put it on. But dammit, I can't get the silencer off. I took the bolt off, and the silencer's stuck.... Is there a trick to this?

spray it with some PB blaster or WD40, and then tap it with a rubber mallet.

Chances are the heat caused it to seize somewhat.
