Buying Integra and need help
I'm helpling my cousin buy a GSR and I have a few questions about one we just looked at. The current owner is the second owner, but the car was a theft recovery from the first owner.
How do you read the stamps on the head that tell when the head was made? The one we looked ay was a 2000 GSR, but the stamps say "95 xx xx 01". Is there anything wrong with this.
This is the stamp I'm talking about. (Not the engine in question btw)
My other question is about the serial numbers. Should the VIN and the serial number on the green tag on the transmission be the same

If your referring to the VIN tag on the trans that starts with JH4DC2, then yes. That should match the VIN under the windshield on the drivers side.

I'm not trying to be a smart ***, but this is the Integra forum. I figured its the best place to look for answers.

the first circle on the left would be the head year..but u have to subtract a year from that number since they always stamp them a year ahead...so on that head...the car should be a 99'
