Default quick jdm itr shift **** question

really really quick question but....

guys with jdm itr shift **** do you guys use that little bolt that comes with the shift ****?

looking at some pics when i searched, doesn't seem like there using the bolt?

i know it threads up without the bolt just wondering what the heck its for

have you put it on the shifter yet? because, you need the bolt to act as kind of a spacer. It helps you to line up the shift **** so that the numbers are not sideways

Oh thats what that "nut" is for

i slapped it on, it lines up perfectly
i was just curious to as what that nut was for

that nut is called a reverse thread nut, and yes like everyone says, its to keep your **** aligned... it's also good to have, if you power shift like i (and others) do. it keeps your **** from swivelling around...
