Indiglo guage removal? Is it possible???
I installed indiglo guages about a year and a half ago when I thought they were cool...
I recently redid all my dash lighting with amber bulbs and hooked my indiglos up to a switch so I can turn them off if I want to. I have them turned off which is fine but you can't see the amber lights much through them. I want to just take them off if it's possible. I don't really want to have to buy a new cluster!!!
Has anyone been sucessful with removing their indiglo guage faces?? If so, how did you do it? BTW, mine are glued to the guages! Man, I'm really kickin myself for this
They wouldn't be so bad except you can't see through them so the amber doesn't shine through well. I'll try to take some night pictures tonight so you can see what I mean... Thanks for any help!!!

you can take a knife and slowly move it under the indiglo gauges to remove the glue that is sticking to it, but i doubt you will be able to remove all the glue off...
isnt there a way you can take them off and clean it with a solvent of some kind
ive never done this but iam guessing it could be done
good luck

i took some out that the previous owner installed, you can see where the glue stuck well, but it isnt that bad, although I'm in the market for an ITR cluster

I highly doubt that
Take a razor blade get the indigay face off and then use goo-gone to get the glue off of the clusters surface.
