I just put my new radiator on because the old one was broken. i filled the new one up to the top with 50/50, and i took it for a drive...where the radiator hose meets the radiator it is leaking the ****.......not much but definitly enough to make a ****ing mess. i tried tightening and securing it plenty of times, but still after i take a drive thge **** is leaking...........does anyone know what the problem is?

 

Had something like this happen on my Thunderbird that I used to have. Ended up tearing everything apart and found that it was not leaking where the hose meets the radiator, but at the other end of the hose and was just travelling down to the radiator connection... I know that is probably not it, but just sounded similiar

 

I had the same problem with a coolant hose. Turned out to be a basically invisible crack in hose. I spent weeks tightening. I finally just replacied it and problem solved.

 

ewh.....i'm putting mine in today.....i hope i don't have the same problem......but i planned on putting some liquid gasket around the radiator hose connection, so hopefully that will prevent the same thing from happening
