the type s is kinda like a japanese prelude type r. i don't know the exact specs but i'm sure someone here could rattle off ALL the specifications for you. the US base model is commonly (albeit incorrectly) referred to as the type s. people mistakenly remove the h from sh to get the base model. i could see how one might think this is correct but when you consider the sh stands for sport handling, calling the base model a "type s" doesn't really make sense. nope, 10:1 that I know of. Only the Type R is 10.something. (And it's 10.6 I think).
