Type S is the Prelude "Type R" of Japan. Nice car.

i know that, but i doubt that's what he's talking about. I'll be you fifty cents he's talking about the base model US prelude.

it's considered yelling and rude.... not to mention it won't get your question answered. do you mean the japanese type s or the US base model?

told u todd!

the type s is kinda like a japanese prelude type r. i don't know the exact specs but i'm sure someone here could rattle off ALL the specifications for you. the US base model is commonly (albeit incorrectly) referred to as the type s. people mistakenly remove the h from sh to get the base model. i could see how one might think this is correct but when you consider the sh stands for sport handling, calling the base model a "type s" doesn't really make sense. (not to mention you confuse people like tood )

Aight... I stand corrected. Speedy boy there wins... this time.

The CR for the piston on a base Prelude (H22A4) is 10:1.

Well since he said 11:1 I thought he meant the JDM Type S for damn sure.

10 point something:1 or a flat 10:1?
What about the H22A1 CR?

nope, 10:1 that I know of. Only the Type R is 10.something. (And it's 10.6 I think).

The S2000 is 11:1.

H22A4 is the same as the A1... 10:1

That is, as far as I know.

(in my best Regis voice) "You are correct!"

The h22a1&4 are both 10:1. The ITR is 10.6:1, the jdm version is 11:1.

YEA!!!! OK, well, then I'd like to take my $100 and leave the show with it. I think it's safer.

I knew I was right, but I always leave a little room for error.
