Anything loose can "chatter" You will have to give us more clues.

Wiggle the headlight, if it moves its loose.

 

its a 240 sx...yea i know this is HT but my hb is still down and i found a 240 for cheap so i wanna make sure i know what im getting into.chatter sounds like the engine, harder to hear it when i pop the hood but it goes with acceleratio/idle.

 

could be the dizzy clicking. could be your flux capacator spinning a throw out bearing.

 

could be the altenator...mines chattering rightnow need to change it
